Financial Support For First Home Buyers

Did you know that when buying land or a new home at Blakelys Run for the first time, you may be eligible for NSW and Federal Government financial assistance.

First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme

A full exemption or reduced rate of transfer duty for first home buyers in NSW.

  • Purchase a new home for $800,000 or less and pay $0 stamp duty.
  • Purchase a new home under $1,000,000 and pay a reduced rate stamp duty
  • Purchase vacant land for $350,000 or less and pay $0 stamp duty
  • Purchase vacant land up to $450,000 and pay a reduced rate stamp duty.

First Home Owner (New Home) Grant

First home buyers who are building or buying a newly built home may be eligible for a $10,000 grant to put towards the purchase price.

  • Purchase house and land package up to $750,000
  • Purchase newly built residence (includes off the plan) up to $600,000

Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee

Under the FHBG, part of an eligible home buyer’s home loan from a Participating Lender is guaranteed by Housing Australia. This enables an eligible home buyer to buy a home with as little as 5% deposit without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance.

  • Earning up $125,000 for individuals or $200,000 for joint applicants
  • Purchasing a house and land package, new home off the plan or land with a separate contract to build a home with a maximum price of $750,000

Shared Equity Home Buyer Helper

If you are eligible for Shared Equity Home Buyer Helper, you may be able to purchase your own home with as little as a 2% deposit. The NSW Government can contribute up to 40% of the purchase price for a brand-new home.

  • Earning up to $93,200 for singles or $124,200 for couples
  • Purchasing a property up to and including $600,000
